Who we are:
We are a global network of young professionals* with positive and altruistic mind, whose purpose is to increase the knowledge and understanding of Uzbek society and culture around the world, through fostering Uzbek community* and global cultural-exchange.
We are a diverse network of young Uzbek professionals and non-Uzbeks (affiliated with Uzbek culture/people) who are great fans of Uzbek culture and people.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a positive and altruistic global network of young professionals around the world. The network which will increase the knowledge and understanding of culturally diverse society and culture of Uzbekistan around the world and foster global cultural exchange.
Our mission
- To empower young professionals via networking events and projects/programs with altruistic touch
- To foster the knowledge and understanding of Uzbek society and culture around the world.
- To build inter-cultural connections (bridges) between Uzbek culture and international communities.
- To create open atmosphere of sharing the knowledge and advice in areas of education/science, careers, art/music, charity, entrepreneurship and development.
- To develop Mentor/Mentee relationships, through which everyone will have an opportunity to get help/advice to advance his/her professional and personal objectives.
Note:
* Our understanding of young professionals starts from High School students, who are learning biology or already accomplished-young pianist, OR an immigrant who came with good intentions and commitment to pursue a university and need advice, OR an inspiring MBA or PHD student who wants to get out and advice lost/unsure young adults, OR a social worker who works with young people to focus more on school, OR financial professional who never sleeps but get excited when he empowers young students to choose education over drugs and positively change their vision of the world and opportunities head of them.
We work with everyone, regardless of age or income, and most importantly who is active in life and wants to make a big change in a small community, anywhere from New York to Paris, from Seattle to Tashkent, from Samarkand to London, from Bukhara to Tel-Aviv, from Fergana to Moscow.
*As Uzbek community, we understand that Uzbekistan, with its historical significance as a center of Silk Road which linked the East to the West, has always been a culturally diverse region and served as a global capital with over 100 nationalities/ethnic groups and five world religions. Basically, it’s a unique place.
